Walmart Cash (2024)

Walmart Cash is a promotional currency available to anyone with a Walmart account. You can use Walmart Cash for future purchases in-store and online, or you can cash out.

You earn Walmart Cash by claiming manufacturer offers for products in the app or on Walmart.com.

You will get your Walmart Cash after your order is fulfilled and won’t be awarded if your item is substituted or returned.

How to Find Manufacturer Offers

Online

The easiest way to find manufacturer offers:

1. Go to Walmart.com or open the app.
2. Select Account.
3. Select Get More next to Walmart Cash.

You can also search for a product. If there’s a manufacturer offer available, you’ll see it on the item’s page. To claim the offer, select the box next to Get Walmart Cash. We’ll apply the Walmart Cash to your account once you buy the product.

In Store

If you’re in-store, you can use the Walmart app to scan barcodes.

1. Open the Walmart app.
2. Open the scanner.
   
   • You can use Check a price or Scan & go.
3. Scan the product’s barcode.
4. Use Walmart Pay at checkout.
   
   • If you don’t use Walmart Pay, you can scan your receipt using the Walmart app.

If there’s a manufacturer offer, you’ll see it on your screen. To claim the offer, select the box next to Get Walmart Cash. We’ll apply the Walmart Cash to your account once you buy the product.

How to Scan Your Receipt

1. Open your Walmart app.
2. Select Account.
3. Select How to get more next to Walmart Cash.
4. Select Earn or redeem in store.
5. Scan the barcode on your store receipt.

Check My Walmart Cash Balance

1. Open the Walmart app or go to Walmart.com.
2. Select Account.
3. Select Get More next to Walmart Cash.

If you have earned Walmart Cash, you’ll see the balance at the top of the page. Select View your Walmart Cash Activity for more information.

How to Redeem Walmart Cash for Purchases

You can use your Walmart Cash on purchases in-store and online.

Online

1. Sign into your Walmart account.
2. In checkout, select Apply next to your Walmart Cash balance in the Payment Method section to redeem your balance.
3. Select the payment method for the remaining balance.

In-Store

1. Sign into your Walmart.com account.
2. Scan the on-screen QR code to connect to your account.
3. Select Walmart Cash.
4. Select payment method for the remaining balance.
   
   • We won’t charge your payment method if you have more Walmart Cash than your basket total.

How to Redeem Walmart Cash for Cash

You can cash out your Walmart Cash once you have at least $25.

In-Store

1. Sign into your Walmart account.
2. Select How to get / Get more.
3. Select Cash out in store.
4. Select Show cash out barcode.
   
   • Your code expires in three hours.
5. Go to the MoneyCenter or customer service desk at any Walmart store.
6. Show your barcode to the associate to scan.

For security reasons, we’ll ask to see your ID. The name on the identification shown to a Walmart associate must match the name on your Walmart+ account.

ONE Account

1. Sign into your Walmart account.
2. Select How to get / Get more.
3. Select Redeem to ONE account.

Walmart Cash can take up to an hour before it is available in your ONE account. Once the Walmart Cash is in your ONE account it is available for spending right away. Visit the ONE Account web page to learn more.
